5. Do one of t he following:
I f you are creating t he rule for a single I P address, ent er t he I P address of the device in bot h of the LAN
I P addr esses fields. Exam ple: 192.168.2.10 and 192.168.2.10.
I f you are creating t he rule for a range of I P addresses, enter t he range of I P address of the devices in
the LAN I P a ddr esses field. Exam ple: 192.168.2.10 and 192.168.2.20.
6. Select TCP as t he appropriat e Prot ocol for the client .
7. The specific port range of 1-65535 will block all I nt ernet access for t he client . Enter 1 in t he first Por t
range field and 6 5 5 3 5 in t he second port range field.
8. To a pply t he rule for all w e ekdays: For W eek day r ange, select Monda y in t he first field and Frida y
in t he second field. I f you want a different range, you can select different days. I f you want the control
to be effect ive for one day, you would select t he sam e day in each field.
To a pply the r ule for w ee kdays or w ee kends: You can set up the rules t o apply to any range of
days, for exam ple Sunday through Thursday night for when your children have school the next m orning,
and Friday t hrough Sat urday for weekend nights when they m ay be allowed t o st ay up lat er. I n this case
you would need to select Sa tur da y and Sunday for W eek day ran ge, and continue t o set up t he rule.
9. For Tim e r ange ea ch day, select 9 PM in t he first field and 6 AM in the second field. I f you want a
different t im e range, you can m ake different select ions in each field.
10. When you are finished, click Add.
