How can I make my wireless network more secure?
Select the most secure wireless security method and encryption type.
For your wireless securit y set t ings, it is recom m ended that you select the W PA2 and
W PA ( PSK) wireless security m et hod using TKI P a nd AES encryption for t he m ost
secure wireless network.
To see what wireless security set t ings you have applied on your router, st art a Web
browser. I n the locat ion or address line of your Web browser, type
1 9 2 .1 6 8 .2 .1 and
log in using t he user nam e and password for the rout er. Your wireless security set t ings
are displayed under Security on t he
St at us page.
Restrict devices that are allowed to connect to the router.
