How do I put my router in Bridge mode?
Bridge M ode is used to connect two isolat ed net works wirelessly. I f t his feat ure is enabled, wireless
clients will not be able to connect to the router. Bridging is used if you are t rying to connect two
networks or two groups of wired clients, each wit h it s own router or wireless access point, that cannot
be conveniently connected using Et hernet cabling. An exam ple of t his type of sit uat ion would be t wo
hom es t hat want t o share net work resources wit hout running cabling through their yards.

1. Access the router configuration pages by opening a Web browser and typing
1 9 2 .1 6 8 .2 .1 and
pressing ENTER.
2. Enter your Login and password when prom pted, then press Ok.
3. Click the
W ir eless tab.
4. Scroll down t o the Bridge Mode sect ion.
5. Select Bridge m ode.
