Statement 4000
The use of wireless devices in hazardous locations is limited to the constraints posed by the safety
directors of such environments. The use of a portable device may be restricted in some locations.

The use of wireless devices in hospitals is restricted to the limits set forth by each hospital.

The use of software or firmware not supported/provided by the manufacturer may result that the
equipment is no longer compliant with the regulatory requirements.

Statement 4002
The Part 15 radio device operates on a non-interference basis with other devices operating in this
frequency band as well as other services operating throughout the radio spectrum. Any changes or
modifications to the said product without approval from Cisco could void the user’s authority to operate
the device. This includes the use on non-approved antennas or 3rd party amplifiers with the radio
module.

For Part 15.407 devices:
Caution Within the 5.15 to 5.25 GHz band (5 GHz radio channels 34 to 48) the U-NII devices are restricted to
indoor operations to reduce any potential for harmful interference to co-channel Mobile Satellite System
(MSS) operations.

The radio has been evaluated under FCC Bulletin OET 65C (01-01) and found compliant to the
requirements as set forth in CFR 47 Sections 2.1091 and 15.247 (b) (4) addressing RF Exposure from
radio fr
equency devices.
To maintain compliance, the minimum separation distance from the antenna to general bystander is
20 cm (7.9 inches).

The radio has been evaluated in accordance with RSS-102 addressing RF Exposure from radio frequency
devices and the product meets the requirements of Canada Health Code 6. To maintain compliance, the
