9. Close your com puter, plug it in, and t urn it on.
10. Windows XP only:
A. I f t he Found New Hardware Wizard asks to connect to t he Windows
update Web sit e to search for software, select N o, not t his t im e and
click N ext .
B. Wit h I nstall the soft ware autom at ically selected, click N e x t .
11. I f a window appears warning that the soft ware has not passed Windows testing,
cont inue wit h the installat ion. USRobotics has thoroughly t ested t he operat ion
of t he software wit h Windows to ensure it s safe operat ion.
Windows XP only: Click Cont inue Anyw ay.
Windows 2000 only: Click Ye s.
12. Windows XP only: Click Finish.
13. Select t he option t hat m atches your wireless network and follow t he on- screen
instructions.

rout er or access point using t he SecureEasySetup but ton. SecureEasySetup configures
the wireless security set t ings t o creat es a secure connection. I f your wireless router or
access point is SecureEasySetup cert ified, one of the following logos should appear on
the device:
