Using HDMI Sources
Hi-Def (HDMI) sources can be connected to the DVI KVM over IP with Local DVI Output
when using HDMI-to-DVI adapters on the Sender and Receiver units. HDMI audio is
passed through to the DVI Out port on the Receiver unit. The DVI KVM over IP with
Local DVI Output will not pass content from HDCP sources such as Blu-ray players and
Playstation® console systems.
If a 3.5mm mini-stereo cable is connected to the Line In jack on the Sender unit, then the
HDMI audio will be disabled on the Receiver unit. The Line Out jack, on the Receiver unit,
will output audio from the source connected to the Line In jack on the Sender unit.
HDMI audio cannot be output using the Line Out jack on the Receiver unit.
