INSTALLATION SOLAR4 CID 1 - BATTERY INSTALLATION Insert 4 batteries AAA, 1.5V (NOT INCLUDED) inside the battery compartment. 2 - CONNECTING LINE CORDS - Connect the curly cord to the handset socket. - Connect the plug at the end of the lead to the telephone socket.
SETTING UP SOLAR4 CID 1 - RINGER HI/LO/OFF The ringer level switch is located on the underside of the base unit (lift the base unit to gain access to the switch).Set the switch to ‘OFF’ position if you do not wish the telephone to ring, otherwise leave the switch in ‘LO’ or ‘HI’ position to adjust the ring level. Outgoing calls can still be made with the switch set to the ‘OFF’ position.
SETTING UP SOLAR4 CID 4 - AREA AND LONG DISTANCE CODE SETTING (Only under “ENGLISH 1” language) In order to use your call records to dial, the telephone need to distinguish between local and long distance calls. You need to program your area code. In the state of OFF-HOOK, do as the following steps: - Press and hold button. - Press button. LCD will displays “SET AREA CODE”. The unit enters the area code & LDS code. - Press or button to select the correct number. - Press OK button to set the next digit.
USING THE PHONE SOLAR4 CID 1 - ANSWERING INCOMING CALLS When an external call is received, the telephone will ring. To take the call lift the handset to answer the call. 2 - DIALING A NUMBER Lift the handset, await the dial tone and dial required number. The number will be shown on the LCD display. On completion of the call, carefully replace the handset in the cradle. 3 - LAST NUMBER REDIAL Lift the handset, await the dial tone and press the button.
SOLAR4 CID RECEIVING CALL 8 - NEW CALL INDICATOR The red indicator light of your phone will flash when you have new calls. The light will continue to flash until you review the calls displayed on the screen.
MESSAGES SOLAR4 CID 1 - MESSAGE WAITING If you have voicemail service from your telephone company and a recorder message is left, the screen will display message waiting. “MSG” will then appear in the upper left corner. The icon will remain until you have retrieved your voice mail and the MESSAGE WAITING will save as a call. Note: This function should be supported by your telephone compagny. 2 - TOTAL & NEW CALLS This shows you the total and new calls to be reviewed.
REVIEWING DISPLAY MESSAGES SOLAR4 CID 5 - REPEAT CALLS If a call comes repeatedly, the display will show “REPEAT” icon in the upper right corner of the LCD. 6 - END OF LIST This message is displayed when use or button to reach the top or end of the call history list. If there are no call, then LCD show “END OF LIST”.
CALLER ID SYSTEM OPERATION SOLAR4 CID Subsription to Caller ID service from your local phone company is required before initial use. 1 - REVIEW YOUR CALL RECORDS Use or button to scroll browse throught the caller list. At the end of the call record list, you will see the “END OF LIST” message. Press either or button to continue. 2 - SAVE CALL RECORDS Save specific calls by deleting old or unnecessary call records. Note : Your phone stores up to 80 calls records before the memory becomes full.

INSTALLATION SOLAR4 CID 1 - INSTALLATION DES BATTERIES Placez 4 piles de type AAA 1.5V (NON FOURNIES) dans le compartiment situé en dessous de la base. 2 - RACCORDEMENTS - Branchez le combiné et le cordon de ligne. - Branchez le conjoncteur téléphonique dans la prise téléphonique murale. 3 - POSITION MURALE GABARIT DE MONTAGE MURAL 80 mm Pour maintenir votre combiné en position verticale, retirez l’ergot situé sur la base (voir descriptif page précédente) le tourner et le réinsérer.
REGLAGES SOLAR4 CID 1 - REGLAGE SONNERIE Un commutateur situé en dessous de la base permet de régler la sonnerie. HI : sonnerie forte LO : sonnerie faible OFF : sonnerie désactivée 2 - SELECTION DU LANGUAGE Vous pouvez choisir vôtre language d’utilisation parmi 16 langues différentes: Anglais 1/2, Grecque, Australien, Tcheck, Slovack, Turque, Espagnol, Hollandais, Français, Allemand, Polonais, Suédois, Danois, Finlandais et Norvégien.
REGLAGES SOLAR4 CID 4 - APPEL LOCAL ET APPEL LONGUE DISTANCE (Seulement sous langue “ENGLISH1”) Vous pouvez programmer votre téléphone pour distinguer un appel local d’un appel longue distance. En position RACCROCHEE suivez les instructions suivantes: - Pressez et maintenez appuyée la touche . -Appuyez sur .L’écran LCD affiche “SET AREA CODE”. Le téléphone entre dans le mode de programmation Aera code & LDS code. - Appuyez sur ou pour selectionner numéro désiré. - Appuyez sur OK passer à l’autre digit.
UTILISATION SOLAR4 CID 1 - RECEVOIR UN APPEL Lorsque le téléphone sonne, décrochez le combiné pour parler à votre correspondant. 2 - APPELER - Décrochez le combiné. - Composez le numéro de votre correspondant. - La conversation terminée, raccrochez le combiné pour libérer la ligne. 3 - RAPPEL DU DERNIER NUMERO - Décrochez le combiné. - Appuyez sur la touche , le numéro de votre correspondant se recompose automatiquement . 4 - TOUCHES «R» * & # Touche d’accès aux Services de France Télécom.
APPELS RECUS SOLAR4 CID 8 - TEMOIN NOUVEAUX APPELS Le témoin lumineux de votre téléphone clignotera dès reception d’un nouvel appel.Il clignotera tant que vous n’avez pas pris connaissance des appels affichés sur l’écran.
MESSAGES SOLAR4 CID 1 - MESSAGE EN ATTENTE Si vous disposez d’un service de messagerie vocale délivrée par votre opérateur, l’afficheur LCD indiquera message en attente. L’icone “MSG” apparaîtra dans le coin en haut à gauche sur votre afficheur LCD . L’icone “MSG” restera présent jusqu’à ce que vous rappatriez vos message et le MESSAGE EN ATTENTE sera enregistré comme un appel . Note: Cette fonction doit être délivrée par un opérateur.
UTILISATION SOLAR4 CID 5 - APPELS REPETITIFS Si un appel revient régulièrement ,l’afficheur LCD indiquera “REPEAT” dans le haut à droite de l’afficheur. 6 - FIN DE LISTE Ce message est affiché lors de l’utilisation des touches ou pour atteindre le début ou la fin de l’historique des appels.S’il n’y a pas d’appel, l’afficheur LCD indiquera “FIN DE LISTE”.
UTILISATION DU SYSTEME CID SOLAR4 CID La souscription d’un abonnement au services d’identification d’appel est requise pour l’utilisation des fonctions suivantes: 1 - VISUALISATION D’APPELS ENREGISTRES Appuyez sur ou pour entrer dans la liste des appels entrants. A la fin de la liste, le message “FIN DE LISTE” sera affiché. Appuyez de nouveau sur ou pour vous déplacer dans la liste. 2 - ENREGISTREMENT D’APPEL Enregistre les appels en détruisant les anciens appels ou appels non nécessaires .
GARANTIE SOLAR4 CID Note : Les fonctions de rappels du derniers numéros ne fonctionnera pas si le numéro sélectioné est bloqué ou invalide.Si la ligne est occupée,décrochez le combiné pour obtenir la tonalité et appuyez ensuite sur OK. Vous pouvez aussi appuyer sur la touche pour recomposer le dernier numéro (BIS). GARANTIE Cet appareil est garanti 1 an pièces et main-d'oeuvre. La date d'achat figurant sur le ticket de caisse fera foi.
