Note:TheCLA-30/40cannotbeusedwithtelephoneswhichhavea keypadon
thehandset.
3 - VOLUME CONTROL
Youcanadjustthevolumecontrollevelbyusingthe“VOLUME”controlslide
switchlocatedonthetop.Volumecanbeadjustedfromthesamelevelyouhave
withyourphoneupto30dBormore.
4 - TONE CONTROL
Youcanadjustthetonebyusingthe5position“TONE”switchlocatedonthe
top.The tonecanbeadjustedby5dBstepwithregardofthe0dBmiddlepoint
forthebassandtreble.Possiblesettingsare -10dB,-5dB,0dBforthebassand
0dB,-5dB,-10dB forthetreble, thiscanbeadjustedattheminandmaxvolume
level.
5 - BOOST SWITCH (CLA-40 ONLY)
Ifyouwishyoucanincreasethereceivingupto10dBmorebypressingand
holdingtheBoostswitchbutton.Duringthisoperationthemicrophoneismuted
toavoidfeedbackproblems.Tospeakreleasethebutton sothatthepeoplecan
hearyou.
6-BATTERY INDICATOR
Eachtimeyouuseyourphonewiththeamplifier,thebatteryLEDindicatorwill
lighttoshowthatthebatteryisfull.IftheLEDdoesnotlight,thebatterymustbe
changed.
IMPORTANT:AlwaysdisconnectCLA-30/40fromthephonebeforereplacing
thebattery .
