Changing the Handset & Base PIN
Base and handset PINs are required to protect your phone
against unauthorized use. They are set to 1590 at the factory.
You can change the PINs as follows:
Handset PIN
1. Press beneath Menu to display the main menu
items.
2. Press to choose (Handset), then press
beneath Select.
3. Press
beneath Select to choose PIN code.
4. Enter the current PIN code, then press
beneath OK.
5. Enter the new four-digit PIN, and press
beneath OK.
6. Enter the new PIN code again to confirm it, then press
a beneath OK to save the setting.
Note:
y At step 4, if you enter the wrong PIN, your phone
generates a warning sound.
Base PIN
1. Press beneath Menu to display the main menu
items.
