8.6 Registration
Your handset and base station is pre-registered. Up to five handsets can be
registered to a single base station.
If for some reason, the handset is not registered to the base station ( flashes even
w hen the handset is near the base station), register your handset according to the
follow ing procedure.
On the cordless handset:
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select REGISTRATION.
2. If you have more than one base, press and / to select the base
number from BASE 1, BASE 2, BASE 3 and BASE 4. There w ill be a
behind the current registered base number.
3. Press to display “PIN?”, enter the 4-digit system PIN for the base
(default PIN is 0000).
4. Press and the display w ill show “WAITING”.
5. At the same time, press MENU/OK and / on the base to
select REGISTRATION.
6. Press MENU/OK to see “PLEASE WAIT” flashing on the base display. After a
short delay, if the registration is successful, there will be a confirmation beep,
and the handset display w ill go back to idle mode w ith the new handset number
show n. The base display w ill also go back to idle mode.
7. Press INT/MUTE/CLEAR at any time to cancel.
