Range Alarm and Other Tones
A beep will sound when the handset is out of range of the
base. You are able to select to enable/disable this
audible warning.
1. Press the Menu ( )key.
2. Press the and key to choose HS
Settings, press the key.
3. Use the or key to choose Tone Setup,
then press the key.
4. Use the or key to choose Range
Alarm, then press the key.
5. Use the or key to choose On/Off to
enable/disable this audible warning, then press the
key, you will hear a confirm beep.
There are two other tones that can be switched on or off
on the AD260:
Key Tone - Every time you press a key, your
handset acknowledges it with a key tone. You
can disable the key tones for silent use. In
