rings. This is useful when trying to remotely access the answering 
machine.    If the answering machine has not answered at the 
fourth ring, no messages have been recorded and you can hang 
up before you are charged for the call. If the machine answers 
after three rings, new messages have been recorded. 
Press ‘MENU’ soft key     
Use S and T to select    ‘TAM SETUP’ 
Press ‘SELECT’ soft key 
Use S and T to select    ‘RING NUMBER’ 
Press ‘SELECT’ soft key 
Use S and T to select either‘3 RINGS’,‘4 
RINGS’
, ‘5 RINGS’,‘6 RINGS’or‘TOLL 
SAVER’ 
Press ‘SAVE’ soft key 
Listening to Messages 
If you have a new message the display will show how many new 
messages have been received and new message LED will be lit.   
To play the messages, press the    key. To play the messages 
through the speaker, press    whilst on hook. To play the 
messages through the receiver, press    after lifting the 
handset.    The telephone will announce, “You have N new 
messages” or “You have N old messages”. The messages will be 
played one by one.    During playback, you can do the following:
