4.7 Pipes
Pipesandsystemcomponentsmustbecleananddryinsideandfreeofscale,swarfandlayersof
rustandphosphate.Onlyuseair-tightparts.
Lay pipes correctly.Suitable vibration compensators must be provided to prevent pipes being
crackedandbrokenbyseverevibrations.
Ensureaproperoilreturn.
Keeppressurelossestoanabsoluteminimum.
Thedischarge and suction line valveshavesteppedinternal
diameters,enablingtheuseofpipeswithstandardmillimetreand
inchdimensions.Thedepthofpipeinsertionwilldependonthe
dimension.
Theconnectiondiametersoftheshut-offvalvesaredesignedfor
maximumcompressoroutput.Therequiredpipecross-section
must be matched to the capacity. The same applies for
non-return valves.

Beforeopeningorclosingtheshut-offvalve,releasethevalvespindlesealbyapprox.¼ofaturn
counter-clockwise.
Afteractivatingtheshut-offvalve,re-tightentheadjustablevalvespindlesealclockwise.

ATTENTION! Overheating can damage the valve.
Therefore, remove the pipe supports from the valve before
soldering.
Solder only using inert gas to inhibit oxidation products.
Therequiredtighteningtorquefortheangeconnectionis60Nm.
