power level
Advantium uses power li_om
high intensity halogen light,s and
microwaves m cook food from
the rap, bottom and interior
simultaneously to seal in moisture
and flavor;
When using the pre-set menu
loods, the power levels are already
selected for you. However; power
levels can be adjusted when
cooking both pre-set menu loods
and manual cooking.
Each power level gives you halogen
lamp power and microwave energy
lor a certain percentage of the time.
U=07 Upper halogen lamp on
70% of the time.
L=07 Lower halogen lamp on
70% of the time.
M=05 Microwave on 50% of
the time.
NOTE: Be careful when adjusting"
pow_ levels so that you do not ova-
or undercook your food.

Press the SPEEDCOOK button
and select your food (follow
instructions from To use a ])re-set
speedcook menu).
When display shows ADJUST
TIME or START, press the
POWER LEVEL button.
Turn the dial clockwise to
incre_e or counterclockwise to
decre_e the upper power level.
Press the dial m enter.
Turn the dial to change the
lower power level. Press the dial
to enter.
Turn the dial to change the
microwave power level. Press the
dial to enter.
6. Press the START/PAUSE button
or the selector dial to start
cooking.
If you do not want to change one of the
settings, just press the dial to move to
the next selection.

favorite recipes:
U = Select a higher setting for thin M
Ioods requiring a golden brown
top (example: fish fillets, toast,
boneless chicken bre_ts).
Select a lower setting Ibr
thicker Ioods and Ibods with
high sugar or fat content
(example: cakes, roasts).

Select a higher setting for thick
or dense foods that may not
cook quickly in the center
(example: casseroles). Select
a lower setting for thin loods
(example: cookies) and foods
containing high fat or sugar
content (example: pastry, cakes).
= Select a higher setting to
shorten cooking time lor dense
or heavy loods (example:
c_seroles, whole chicken).
Select a lower setting lor
delicate loods (example: cakes,
breads, souffles) or loods
requiring longer cook times for
tender results (example: stew,
pot roast).
