This change should haveno effect
on your fresh food compartment.
However,if freezing occurs, turn
the numbered control one step
warmer, as from “5” to “4V
When you stop turning the
thermostat down, turn temperature
controlsbackto theirregularsettings.

To r the amount of
ekxtrkity required to operate
your refrigerator, push switch
to the Ml position.
This turns off heaters in your
refrigerator that prevent moisture
from forming on tile outside.
Withthe heatersturned off, there
is a chancethat moisturemay form
on the cabinetsurfacebetweenthe
doors,especiallywhentheweatheris
humid. The humidityis most likely
to be high in the summer,in the
early morninghours, and in homes
which are not air conditioned.
Over an extendedperiod oftime,
moisturethat forms on the outside
maycause deteriorationofthe paint
finish.It willbe importantto protect
the finishby usingappliancepolish
waxas describedon page 12.
