Our products portfolio supports the main aircraft interface technologies (MIL-
STD-1553B and ARINC 429) that have been the standard for the past 50 years in
the industry. We have also invested in the new high-speed, determinist Ethernet-
based technologies, AFDX/ARINC 664. Our wide product range supports many
interface technologies, including newer standards such as PCIe, XMC, VPX, AMC,
USB and Express card. All of our interface board products have driver support
for many operating systems provided with the board, including API source code
examples so the user can tailor the code to suit their application.
GE avionics products are widely used in the development, simulation, testing and
maintenance of aircraft, space, weapons and ground systems. Our considerable
experience in rugged products enables us to provide rugged and conduction-
cooled boards for harsh embedded environments. Our embedded products are
flying on numerous military and commercial aircraft platforms.
Our parent company, GE, has more than 100 years of experience as a tech-
nology supplier to the military and aerospace arena, including the development
of the first jet engine for military use. Because of this rich military and aerospace
heritage, GE Intelligent Platforms is especially proud of its reputation of being a
