parity,errordetectionandautomatic
transmitchannelslewrateadjustment.
Allchannelsoperateindependently,with
2MBytesofon-boardRAMprovidinglarge
transmitandreceivedatabuffers.Discretes
functioningasinputssupportTTLto
avionicslevelvoltages,whilediscretes
functioning as outputs can switch up to
0.5ampere,withopendrainoutputs
enhancingapplicationflexibility.
Data Handling
On-boardfirmware,largedatabuffersand
ahigh-levelAPIareintegratedtoprovide
totalflexibilityinmonitoringandgenerating
ARINCbustraffic.SimultaneousScheduled
andBurstMode(FIFO)messagingissupported
onallARINC429transmitchannels.Each
ARINC429receivechannelprovidessimul-
taneousDedicatedandBufferedMode
storage,alongwithlabel/SDIfiltering.
Threedifferentmethodsareprovidedto
bufferreceiveddata:
• BufferedModeutilizesaseparatecircular
buffer for each channel.
• MergedModecombinesallreceiveddata
intoasingle,time-sequencedcircularbuffer.
• DedicatedModeprovidesasnapshotof
theverylatestdata.
