This appliance Inust be grounded. In the e\'ent of
an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the
risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire
fin" the electric cmTent.
This appliance is eqtfipped Mth a power cord
having a grotmding wire with a grotmding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is
properly instnlled and grotmded.
Consult a qualified electfidan or service technician
if the grotmding instructions are not completely
tmdetstood, or if doubt exists as to whether the
appliance is properly grotmded.
If the outlet is a stnndard 2-prong wall outlet, it is
w_m" personal responsibili_i and obligation to have
it replaced with a properly grotmded B-prong wall
outlet.

We do not recommend using an extension cord
with this appliance. If the power cord is too short,

blowing of fllse ,c,r tripping of circuit breaker;
