About the controls on the refrigerator. About the refrigerator shelves and bins. Not all features are on all models. Bins on the Refrigerator Compartment Door Snugger Adjustable bins can easily be carried from refrigerator to work area. To remove: Lift the front of the bin up, then pull out. The snugger helps prevent tipping, spilling or sliding of small items stored on the door shelf. Place a finger on either side of the divider near the rear and move it back and forth to fit your needs.
Slide-Out Spillproof Shelf (on some models) The slide-out spillproof shelf allows you to reach items stored behind others. The special edges are designed to help prevent spills from dripping to lower shelves. Make sure you push the shelves all the way back in before you close the door. Spillproof Shelves (on some models) Spillproof shelves have special edges to help prevent spills from dripping to lower shelves.
About the additional features. Not all features are on all models. ShelfSaver™ Rack Use this rack to store beverage cans for easy access. It can also hold a 22 cm x 33 cm baking dish. Loading the Freezer Compartment Load so that at least 15 mm of space remains clear between stacks of packages and 15 mm to 25 mm of space between the top of any stack and any shelf or basket above it. Packages may hang over the front of shelves but must remain 15 mm from doors.
About the storage drawers. Not all features are on all models. Storage Drawers Excess water that may accumulate in the bottom of the drawers should be wiped dry. Adjustable Humidity Drawers Slide the control all the way to the High or setting to provide high humidity recommended for most vegetables. Slide the control all the way to the Low or setting to provide lower humidity levels recommended for most fruits.
About the automatic icemaker. A newly-installed refrigerator may take 12–24 hours to begin making ice. Automatic Icemaker (on some models) Power Switch Green Power Light Icemaker Feeler Arm The icemaker will produce seven cubes per cycle—approximately 100–130 cubes in a 24-hour period, depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, number of door openings and other use conditions.
About the ice and water dispenser. On some models To Use the Dispenser Select CUBED ICE WATER . , CRUSHED ICE or Press the glass gently against the top of the dispenser cradle. The spill shelf is not self-draining. To reduce water spotting, the shelf and its grille should be cleaned regularly. Spill Shelf If no water is dispensed when the refrigerator is first installed, there may be air in the water line system.
Care and cleaning of the refrigerator. Cleaning the Outside Dispenser drip area. The dispenser drip area, (on some models) beneath the grille, should be wiped dry. Water left in this area may leave deposits. Remove the deposits by adding undiluted vinegar to the well. Soak until the deposits disappear or become loose enough to rinse away. The dispenser cradle (on some models). Before cleaning, lock the dispenser by pressing and holding the LOCK CONTROL pad for 3 seconds.
Preparing to Move Secure all loose items such as grille, shelves and drawers by taping them securely in place to prevent damage. Be sure the refrigerator stays in an upright position during moving. Replacing the light bulbs. Turning the control to the 0 position does not remove power to the light circuit. Refrigerator Compartment—Upper Light This bulb is located behind the controls. Unplug the refrigerator.
Installation Instructions Refrigerator Models 20, 22, 25 BEFORE YOU BEGIN CLEARANCES Read these instructions completely and carefully. Allow the following clearances for ease of installation, proper air circulation and plumbing and electrical connections. • IMPORTANT – Save these instructions for local inspector’s use. • • • • • • • • Sides 4 mm • Top 25 mm • Back 25 mm A side clearance of 19 mm is needed for a 90° door opening which provides better access to the food storage area.
Installation Instructions ROLLERS DOOR ALIGNMENT The rollers have 3 purposes: Rollers adjust so the door closes easily when opened about halfway. After leveling, make sure that the doors are even at the top. To make the doors even, adjust the refrigerator door as follows: Remove the Base Grille, open the doors, then pull the grille straight out. Rollers adjust so the refrigerator is firmly positioned on the floor and does not wobble. Determine which of the two doors is higher than the other.
Installation Instructions INSTALLING THE WATER LINE (CONT.) 1 CONNECT THE TUBING TO THE REFRIGERATOR (CONT.) 1 CONNECT THE TUBING TO THE REFRIGERATOR NOTES: • Before making the connection to the refrigerator, be sure the refrigerator power cord is not plugged into the wall outlet. • We recommend installing a water filter if your water supply has sand or particles that could clog the screen of the refrigerator’s water valve. Install it in the water line near the refrigerator.
Normal operating sounds. Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. Do you hear what I hear? These sounds are normal. HUMMM... WHOOSH... ■ The new high efficiency compressor may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. ■ Sometimes the refrigerator runs for an extended period, especially when the doors are opened frequently.

Connecting the Tubing to the Shutoff Valve Attach the fitting with the male thread supplied with the water supply kit to the shutoff valve (or pressure limiting valve, if fitted), and tighten. Insert and push the end of the tubing into the fitting as far as possible. NOTE: PTFE tape should be used for a watertight seal when assembling all the above fittings. With the free end of the tubing located in a suitable container, turn the main water supply On and flush out the tubing until the water is clear.

Caractéristiques supplémentaires. Sous-plat et séparation (sur certains modèles) Séparation Sousplat Normal Le sous-plat est conçu pour écarter vos fruits et vos légumes du bas du bac et les protéger de toute humidité qui pourrait se former. La séparation empêche les plus grands fruits et légumes de tomber ou de rouler sur les autres plus délicats. En levant tout droit la séparation, vous pouvez la séparer du sous-plat et la régler d’un côté à l’autre, puis la repousser en position.

Des glaçons peuvent bloquer le conduit ou empêcher le volet de fermeture de se fermer en gelant. Si des glaçons bloquent le conduit, faites-les passer à l’aide d’une cuillère en bois.
Soins et nettoyage de votre réfrigérateur. Nettoyage de l’intérieur Pour aider à empêcher les odeurs, laissez une boîte ouverte de bicarbonate de soude dans les compartiments réfrigération et congélation. Débranchez votre réfrigérateur avant de le nettoyer. El dispensador de agua y hielo. En algunos modelos Para usar el dispensador Seleccione CUBED ICE (Hielo en cubitos) , CRUSHED ICE (Picado) o WATER (Agua) . Cuidado y limpieza del frigorífico. Limpieza del exterior Área de goteo del dispensador El receptor del dispensador (en algunos modelos), por debajo de la parrilla, debe mantenerse limpio y seco. El agua que se queda en esta área puede dejar depósitos. Quite los depósitos agregando vinagre sin diluir al fondo. Remoje hasta que desaparezcan los depósitos o hasta que se desprendan lo suficiente para quitarlos. El botón del dispensador (en algunos modelos).
Cuidado y limpieza del frigorífico. Preparación para vacaciones En el caso de vacaciones o ausencias prolongadas, retire los alimentos y desenchufe el frigorífico. Coloque el control del congelador en la posición O (apagado) y limpie el interior con una solución de bicarbonato de una cucharada (15 ml) de bicarbonato por un litro de agua. Deje las puertas abiertas. Ponga el interruptor del dispositivo de hielo en la posición O y cierre el paso del agua al frigorífico.
Cómo cambiar las bombillas. Colocar el control en posición 0 no desconecta el circuito de la luz. Compartimiento de frigorífico—luz superior La bombilla está localizada detrás de los controles. Sonidos normales de operación. Los frigoríficos más nuevos suenan diferente a los modelos más antiguos. WHOOSH... ■ El compresor nuevo de alta eficiencia puede operar más rápido y por más tiempo que su frigorífico anterior y es posible que escuche un zumbido alto mientras opera.
Antes de llamar al servicio técnico… Solución de problemas ¡Ahorre tiempo y dinero! Revise las tablas en las páginas siguientes y tal vez no necesite llamar al servicio técnico. El control del congelador está en posición O. • Ponga el control en una posición de temperatura. El frigorífico está desenchufado.

Puerta quedó abierta. • Revise que no haya un paquete impidiendo que se cierre la puerta.
Problema Posibles Causas Qué hacer No sale agua ni cubitos de hielo La línea de agua o la válvula están obturadas. El dispensador está LOCKED (bloqueado). • Llame a un fontanero. Alguna comida está desprendiendo olores en el frigorífico. • Las comidas que desprendan fuertes olores deben envolverse muy bien.
