What To Do
Avoid using hot water during water softening system
recharge because the water heater will refill with hard water.

Be sure the number shown is the same as the actual grains per
gallon hardness of your water supply Seethe Programming
the Control section if a change inthe setting is needed.
Water hardnesscan change over time, especially in well water.
To check, have the water tested by a water analysis laboratory
or call your local water department. Adjust the HARDNESS
number setting as needed.
