to the water heater requirements. NOTE: 208V

LOCATION
Locate the water heater in o clean dry area as near as
practical to the area of greatest heated water demand.
Long uninsulated hot water lines can waste energy and
water. Unit must be installed in a level location.
NOTE:This unit is designed for any common indoor

be installed in rooms smaller than 10' x 10' x 7' (700

The water heater and water lines should be protected
from freezing temperatures and h/jh-corrosive
atmospheres. Do not install the water heater in outdoor,
unprotected areas.
A CAUTION: RiskofProperty Damage-
The water heater should not be located in an area where
leakage of the tank or connections will result in damage
to the area adjacent to it or to lower floors of the
structure. Where such areas cannot be avoided, it is
recommended that a suitable catch pan, adequately
drained, be installed under the water heater. Attic
installations require adequate flooring and access stairs.

(57°0 setting, the averagewater heater setting accordingto
the Departmentof Energy. Allsavingsfor GeoSpringTM are
basedon hybrid mode operationat 135°F(57°0.
Safety regulationsrequirea factory settingof !20°Fto !25°F
(49°Cto 52°Q max for all new water heaters. Therefore,if
your water heater is currentlyset at !30°F (54°0 or above
