Careand cleaning of the compactor, ge.cem
As is true of most appflances, proper care is needed to give you continued satisfaction. Before cleaning the compactor,
turn the knob to the OFFposition and remove it. If you will be away for more than a couple of days, remove the compactor
bag. Lock the compactor by removing the knob and store it in a safe place.
Cleaning the Unit
Toclean the outside:
_Vil)e with a clean damp cloth.
Painted panels:
Apply a coat of kitchen/ai)pliance wax
when tile compactor is ne_, and then
se\'eral tilnes a veal:
Stainless steel panels:
Stainless steel panels can be cleaned with
Cerama B_Tte ': or a similar product using a
clean, soft cloth.

Toclean the drawer interior:

Hold tile side door latch and flit
the side of the drawer until the latch

soapy water: Rinse and then dry with a
soli cloth.

Toclean the cabinet interior:
[] Pull tile drawer out until it stops.

] I,ift tile front to clear the drawer stops.
(;tab tile drawer on both sides. Pull it
out the rest of the wax and set it aside.
[] Vacuum inside of tile cabinet, iJquid
spills or wet trash should be cleaned
up bv hand or use a vacuum designed
to pick up liquid.
