Lower Rack
Thelowerrackis bestusedfor plates,saucersand
cookwareitems.Largeitems,suchas broilerpans
and bakingracksshouldgoalongthe sidesof the
rack.Ifnecessary,oversizedglassesandmugscan
be placedinthe lowerrackto maximizeloading
flexibility.Plates,saucersandsimilaritemsshouldbe
placedbetweenthe tinesinthe directionthat allows
the itemto remainsecureinthe rack.
Do not loadlargeitemswherethey mayblockthe
detergentdispenserwhenthe doorisclosed.
Thereversibletine blocks(onsomemodels)are
designedto allowgreaterflexibilityinloadingdishes.
Thedirectionof thetine blockscanbechangedto
match preferredloadingdirection.Toadjustthe tine
blockdirection,removethe clipssecuringthetine
blocksto the racksby pullingup onthetab,then
flexthe retainingwireto unseatthe tineblockfrom
the lowerrack.Thetine blockmaybeturnedinthe
oppositedirectionto reversethe loadingdirection.
Securethe tineblockto the rackusingthesame
processand besureto snapthe sameclipsin place.

choke hazard for small children. Keep out of
reach of children.
FolddowntinesIonsomemodels)allowfor greater
flexibilityin loadinglargeitems.Selectthe position
of thefold downtine that bestaccommodates
your dishwareitems.Thedirectionof the fold down
tinescan bechangedto matchpreferredloading
direction.Toadjustthe folddowntine direction,
removethe clipssecuringthe fold downtinesto the
racksby slidingthe clipso that itdisengagesfrom
the rackwire.Thefolddown tinesmayberotated
inthe oppositedirectionto reversethe loading
direction.Securethefolddown tinesto the rack
usingthe sameclips.Theclipisremovedbypulling
uponthe clipandseparatingit fromthe rack.
Replacethe cliponthe oppositesideof therackby
positioningthe clipoverthewire andpressingdown.
ttis importantto ensurethat itemsdonot protrude
throughthe bottom oftherackorthe silverware
basketwheretheywill blockthe rotationofthe lower
sprayarm.Thiscouldresultin noiseduringoperation
and/orpoorwashperformance.
