The GE Intelligent Platforms ADEPT4000
is a next generation, cost-effective, digital
automatic video tracking and image
processing solution for platforms where
SWaP (size, weight and power) is critical,
such as in the cramped space of small
autonomous vehicles and man-portable
devices. It builds on GE’s 20 plus years’
experience providing solutions to demanding
image processing problems.
The ADEPT4000 combines high performance
with low latency simultaneous target tracking
with any HD-SDI progressive digital video
signal, electronic video stabilization — in a
package smaller than a standard business
card, allowing flexibility in board location.

All image processing functions are optimized
for the lowest possible latency, with full frame
rate operation.
The ADEPT4000 incorporates on-board serial
links and Ethernet, allowing it to interface
to most platforms, and is designed for easy
configuration and device control with an
intuitive web-based interface. Although it is
a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product,
it is fully ruggedized to survive the harshest
commercial and military environments.
An optional carrier card and carrier reference
design is available to speed evaluation,
design and integration.
