8. Hardware Installation 1. Plug the included AC power adapter into the Power Jack on your Card Reader/Hub. 2. Plug the included AC power adapter into a standard electrical outlet or GE branded Surge Protector. 3. Plug the mini B USB plug of the cable into the card reader. 4. Plug the standard A USB plug of the cable into your computer or USB hub. 5. Your computer will detect your card reader and hub, and may load additional drivers for it. 6.
10. Card Slot Identification Please refer to the diagram when locating the appropriate slot for each card type. Do not force the card into any slot. The card must be inserted into the correct slot with the correct orientation to avoid damage to your card and the card reader.
