Remove the cotter pin (P) and clevis pin (O) from the downrod
of the canopy assembly (B). Remove the rubber insert located
on the canopy mounting screws (M) on both sides before
installation.
Note: For installation and use of longer downrod (option sold
separately), instructions are available at

HANGING THE FAN

Remove the three (3) coupling cover screws (S)
from the coupling cover (D) and retain for later
use.

2-pin connectors

Loosen (but do not remove) the two collar set screws (N),
from the coupling on the top of the motor assembly (E).
Attach the 2-pin connectors from the downrod of the
canopy assembly (B) and motor assembly (E). Carefully
feed connectors into the downrod of the canopy assembly
(B).
Place the canopy trim ring (C) on top of motor assembly (E)
and coupling cover (D) onto the downrod of the canopy
assembly (B).

WARNING: Failure to properly install cotter pin
could result in fan loosening and possibly falling.
Align the holes at the bottom of the downrod (B) with the
holes in the collar on top of the fan motor assembly (E).
Carefully insert the clevis pin (O) through the holes in the
collar and downrod (B). Be careful not to jam the clevis
pin (O) against the wiring inside the downrod (B).
Insert the cotter pin (P) through the hole near the end of
the clevis pin (O) until it snaps into its locked position.
Tighten two set screws (N) at top of the fan motor collar
firmly and evenly until fully engaged.

Align the 3 holes on the coupling cover (D) with the tabs
on the motor assembly (E). Tighten the three coupling
cover screws (S).
