The battery compartment holds four “AA” alkaline batteries.

BATTERY STRENGTH—When the battery power is low,
the transmitter emits a chirping sound every 4–5
seconds. This signals approximately 10 minutes of
remaining battery power. The chirping continues until
the battery power is completely depleted, at which time
the Model 340T stops transmitting data.
