NO SPARK
Ensure there is no debris around the pilot assembly,
(e.g. soot etc.) which could short the spark, clean the area.
Replace the batteries in the ignitor unit and retry.
Consult the users
instructions, retry.
From Ignition Fault

Operate the valve to light
the pilot, can repetitive
clicks be heard?
Has ignition lead
become detached or is
connection poor?
Remove the ignition lead
from electrode. With
insulated pliers. Hold the
tip 3.5mm from the pilot
pipe work, is there a spark
when the valve 'clicks'?
Replace the ignition lead
and retry.
Correct and retry.
Check for defective or
damaged:
- Microswitch and leads.
- Control Mechanism.
Correct and retry.
Is there a spark?
Is the valve being
operated correctly?

Replace the electrode.

Replace the ignitor unit.

thermocouple 4.0mm?
Has ignition lead
become detached from the
electrode?
Is the ignition lead
detached from the valve?
Replace the valve and
retry.
Replace Pilot.
Check the batteries in the remote
handset and the control valve
and retry.
Is the valve being
operated correctly?
Reset the electrode gap,
retry.
