6. Module

6.1 Remove the Log Burners, Mesh Tray and Air Guide, see

Section 4.

6.2 Disconnect the LED plug and Mains Lead from the Module,

see Diagram 21.

6.3 Disconnect the Module Lead, see Diagram 21.

6.4 Remove the screw securing the Module to the base of the

appliance, see Diagram 21.

6.5 The Module can now be removed.

6.6 Replace in reverse order.

7. Pilot Unit Assembly

IMPORTANT: UNDER THE TERMS OF THE

EXTENDED WARRANTY IT WILL BE COMPULSORY

TO CHANGE THE COMPLETE PILOT UNIT ON THIS

APPLIANCE IN YEARS 2 AND 4.

7.1 The Pilot Assembly needs to be replaced as a complete

unit.

7.2 Remove the Gauze Pilot Shield for access.

7.3 Remove the Log Burners and Main Control Assembly,

see Section 4.

7.4 Undo the compression nut from the pilot pipe,

see Diagram 22.

7.5 Remove the ignition lead from the electrode, see

Diagram 23.

7.6 Undo the 2 retaining screws from pilot unit bracket, see

Diagram 23.

7.7 Undo the thermocouple nut from the interrupter block at the

rear of the gas valve, see Diagram 24.

7.8 Remove the Vidaex from the Thermocouple and ret to the

new Pilot Assembly.

7.9 When replacing the Pilot ensure the Thermocouple follows

its original route.

7.10 Set the spark gap, see Diagram 25.
