Servicing Instructions - Replacing Parts
7.4 Undo the nut from the Cross Lighter, see Diagram 26.

7.5 Turn the Main Control Assembly over.
7.6 Withdraw the Cross Lighting bar from the Control
Assembly.
The Injector is screwed into the bottom of the bar, see
Diagram 27.

7.7 Replace with the correct size Injector.
7.8 Ensure the left and right hand sides of the Burner engages
in the bracket slots, see Diagram 28.
NOTE: The LH bracket is part of the Pilot bracket.

7.9 Check for leaks.
8. Pilot Unit Assembly
8.1 Turn off the gas supply at the isolating device.
8.2 Remove the Log Burners and Main Control Assembly,
see Section 4.
The pilot bracket can be accessed from the underside of the
Main Control Assembly.
IMPORTANT: UNDER THE TERMS OF THE
EXTENDED WARRANTY IT WILL BE COMPULSORY
TO CHANGE THE COMPLETE PILOT UNIT ON THIS
APPLIANCE IN YEARS 2 AND 4.
8.3 Undo pilot pipe from the control valve, see Diagram 29,
arrow A.
Remove the thermocouple from the interrupter block, see
Diagram 29, arrow B.

Remove the ignition lead from the electrode, see Diagram
29, arrow C.
8.4 Undo the 2 retaining screws from pilot unit bracket, see
Diagram 30.
The pilot bracket can now be withdrawn from its cradle.
The pilot assembly consists of three components, which
can be individually changed, these are:
8a) Electrode.
8b) Pilot Injector.
8c) Thermocouple.
