3. Fixing the Appliance to the floor
IMPORTANT: THE OUTER PANELLING OF THE
GAZCO LOFT IS MADE FROM CAST IRON. USE
CAUTION WHEN INSTALLING, REMOVING AND
STORING AS THE COMPONENTS ARE HEAVY
AND SHOULD BE HANDLED CAREFULLY.
3.1 To x the appliance via a Plinth or a Log Store it will
be necessary to gain access to the xing points on the
appliance:
3.2 Remove the plinth to access the controls:
1. Pull the lower section of the plinth forward to release from
the studs.
2. Lift the top section and tilt forward to clear the hooks
and slots on the front of the appliance, see Diagram 9.

3.3 Remove the 2 side screws, see Diagram 10.

3.4 Pull the front of the side panels away from the appliance
and slide backwards to disengage the back tabs, see
Diagram 10.
3A. Direct to Hearth
The appliance sits on a mounting bracket to secure it in
place to either the hearth or bench.
3a.1 To x to a hearth, rst remove the mounting bracket from
beneath the appliance.
3a.2 Remove the plinth to access the controls:
1. Pull the lower section of the plinth forward to release from
the studs.
2. Lift the top section and tilt forward to clear the hooks
and slots on the front of the appliance, see Diagram 11.

3a.3 Access the bolts that secure the bracket, see Diagram 12.
Note the bracket can be accessed by tilting the appliance.
