8. Removing the Glass Door
IMPORTANT: THE OUTER PANELLING OF THE
GAZCO LOFT IS MADE FROM CAST IRON. USE
CAUTION WHEN INSTALLING, REMOVING AND
STORING AS THE COMPONENTS ARE HEAVY
AND SHOULD BE HANDLED CAREFULLY.
8.1 Remove the plinth to access the controls:
1. Pull the lower section of the plinth forward to release from
the studs.
2. Lift the top section and tilt forward to clear the hooks
and slots on the front of the appliance, see Diagram 48.

The glass door will need to be removed to gain access to the
fuel effect.
8.2 Remove the 4 screws, see Diagram 49.

8.3 Lift the glass door slightly and angle the bottom away from
the appliance. Lower the glass door to disengage the top
hooks from the appliance, see Diagram 50.
NOTE: SUPPORT DOOR WHEN REMOVING.

9. Battery Installation
9.1 The appliance batteries are located on a bracket located
behind the lower plinth, see Diagram 51.
To remove the plinth see Section 8.

9.2 Unclip the battery holder from the connector.
9.3 Correctly position the 4 new AA size batteries into the battery
holder. Re-assemble the battery holder as shown in
Diagram 52.

9.4 Replace the battery holder.
