11 If you installed a new primary drive:
• Format and partition the drive according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
• Install Windows using the operating system DVD that
came with your computer. For more information on
restoring your system, see “Recovering your system”
on page 122.
Replacing the front fan
To replace the front fan:
1 Remove the side panel by following the instructions in
“Removing the side panel” on page 49.
2 Remove the fan cover by holding cables out of the way
and pulling the cover away from the computer.
