Automatic Mode
Start up
Unwind the power cord completely and insert
the power plug into a 220/240V outlet.
PressthePOWERbuttontoturnthemachineon.
The POWER button will illuminate white. The
LCD screen will display AUTO. The progress
and hardness bar will also be illuminated. The
arrow should be pointed at the AUTO on the
LCD screen to indicate the mode you are in. To
ensure the machine is in auto mode, turn the
hardness dial.
Hardness selection
To select the hardness you desire turn the hard-
ness dial left or right. Left being softer frozen
desserts such as sorbet and right being harder
desserts such as ice cream.
Keep cool / Automatic Mode
When using automatic mode, you can activate
theKEEPCOOLfunctionbefore,oratanytime
during the preparation of your dessert. In this case once selected, the appliance will auto-
maticallyswitchtotheKEEP-COOL-functionassoonasthepreparationofyourdesserthas
been finished.
1. ToengagetheKEEPCOOL-function,presstheKEEPCOOLbutton.KEEPCOOLfunction
is selected when the button surround is illuminated red.
2. Turn the hardness selection dial to select the desired consistency.
3. Fill in the ingredients, and prepare the appliance for operation.
4.PresstheSTART|PAUSEbutton.
As soon as the dessert has reached the desired consistency, a melody sounds. Thereafter,
theapplianceswitchesautomaticallytotheKEEPCOOL-function,andKEEPCOOLwillflash
on the display.
Note: The compressor and motor will turn on and off incrementally to keep the consistency
of the dessert. Your dessert will be chilled
and churned for up to 3 hours in total.
ToengagetheKEEPCOOL-functionafterthecompetionofanautomaticprogrammeyoucan
presstheSTART|PAUSEbuttonandimmediatelytheKEEPCOOLbutton.
Adding the ingredients and starting operations
a)Ensurethatthepaddle,bowlandbowlchamberareclean.Insertpaddleintothebowl
before adding ingredients.
