Your new milk frother is ideal for quickly and 
easily foaming cold or warm milk for your cap-
puccino, milk coffee and other milk
specialities.
We hope you take much pleasure in using your 
LATTE MAX milk frother.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the safety warnings. Keep this manual for 
future reference. When handing over this pro-
duct to somebody else, remember to give them 
these instructions.
INTENDED USE
The milk frother is intended for frothing liquids. 
It is not suitable for processing viscous or solid 
ingredients. This appliance is not intended for 
use by persons (including children) with redu-
ced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, 
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless 
they have been given supervision or instruction 
concerning use of the appliance by a person 
responsible for their safety.
DANGER to children
•The product is not a toy. Keep it out of 
  children‘s reach.
•Batteriescanbehighlydangerousifswallo- 
  wed. Store batteries and the product out of  
  the reach of infants. If a battery has been  
  swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
•Keep packing material out of the reach of 
  children. There is a risk of suffocation!
WARNING - risk of scalds
•Be careful when foaming up hot liquids. 
  Splashes can cause scalds.
WARNING - risk of injury

CAUTION - material damage
•Neverimmersethehandleofthemilkfrother 
  in water.
Not dishwasher proof!
•Removebatteriesiftheyarerunninglowor 
  if you do not intend to use the milk frother for  
  any length of time. Leakage may cause  
 damage.
•Alwaysreplaceallthebatteriessimultaneously. 
   Do not use batteries of different types, brands  
  or capacities at the same time. Observe cor- 
  rect polarity (+/-) when replacing batteries.
•Placethecontainerinwhichyouwanttofroth 
  the milk on a solid, level and non-slip surface  
  that can be cleaned easily.
•Donotusecausticchemicals,sharporabra-
  sive cleaning products for cleaning.
INSERTING BATTERIES
The device needs two type 
AA, 1.5 V batteries
to operate.
1. Slide the battery compartment lid on the side 
  off the device.
2. Insert 2 batteries as shown. Observe correct 
  polarity (+/-).
3. Slide the lid back into place.
FROTHING MILK
Clean the foaming spiral before the first use as 
described in the section “Cleaning”.
Use a suitable container to foam milk, if possi-
ble a tall container or jug, as splashes cannot 
always be avoided. Fill the container max. up 
to 1/3. Do not use containers with a sensitive 
surface. Avoid touching the walls of the contai-
ner with the foaming spiral, as this might cause 
scratches. Small foaming jugs made of highgra-
de steel are ideal.

WARNING – risk of scalding
•Toavoidsplashes:firstlowerthe spiral into 
  the liquid, before switching the device on. 
  Switch the device off first, before removing 
  the spiral from the liquid.
2. Lower the spiral of the milk frother into the 
  milk and press the bottom black button.
  The switch clicks into place and can be re- 
  leased during use.
3. Move the frother to and fro in the container 
  so that air is mixed with the milk.
4.Press the black button once more to switch 
  the device off.
5.Pourthefoamedmilkontoyourcappuccino 
  and sprinkle a little sugar or cocoa powder 
  on top.
  Your cappuccino is ready.
Tip: For best results we recommend using fresh 
milk which can be foamed in either a cold or 
hot condition. However, the milk should not 
come to a boil. This will give it an unpleasant 
taste and causes skin to form on its surface.
CLEANING
Dip the mixing coil into hot, dishwater and 
switch it on for a few seconds. Afterwards rinse 
it and switch the appliance on again for drying 
the mixing coil. Do not bend the mixing leg. 
Wipe the handle with a damp cloth. Handle 
and battery housing may not be dipped into 
water. Please do not clean the appliance 
in the dishwasher.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging at a re-
cycling point which sorts materi-
als by type. Should you wish to 
dispose of this product, do so in 
accordance with the current regulations. 
Details are available from your local authority. 
Containers for the proper disposal of batteries 
are provided at battery retailers as well as at 
local authority collection points.
WARRANTY
We guarantee that all our products are free of 
defects at the time of purchase. Any demons-
trable manufacturing or material defects will 
be to the exclusion of any further claim and 
within warranty limits of the law free of charge 
repaired or substituted. There is no warranty 
claim of the purchaser if the damage or defect 
of the appliance is caused by inappropriate 
treatment, over loading or installation mistakes. 
The warranty claim expires if there is any tech-
nical interference of a third party without an 
written agreement.
The purchaser has to present the sales slip in 
assertion-of-claim and has to bear all charges 
of costs and risk of the transport.
