• Operatetheapplianceonawellaccessible,stable,level,dry,andsuitablelargesur-
face.Do not placetheapplianceoranypartofitonornearhotsurfaces(heater,gas
burner,grill,oroven).Do notplacetheapplianceneartheedgeofthetableor
counteroroninclinedorwetsurfacesorwhereitcanfall.Keeptheentireappliance
awayfromdirectsunlightandsharpedges.Ensuretheblenderjugislockedsecurely
ontothemotorblockandthatyoucannotknocktheapplianceoverduringoperation
toavoidpersonalinjury.
• Neverleavetheapplianceunattendedwhentheplugisconnectedtothepower
outlet.AlwaysIMMEDIATELY turntheappliance´Off`,waitforthemotortostop
completely,andthenunplugtheappliance,iftheapplianceisnotinuse(evenfor
ashortbreak)andbeforeassembling,disassemblingorcleaning.Neverleavethe
applianceunattendedwheninoperationalmode.
• Do notleaveanyfooddryonthesurfacesoftheappliance.Do not immerse
themotorhousingorpowercordinwateroranyotherliquid.Do not pourordrip
anyliquidsonthemotorhousingorpowercord.Whenliquidsarespilledonthemotor
housing,immediatelyunplugtheapplianceanddrythemotorhousingtoavoidrisk
ofelectricshockorfire.Do notattempttooperatetheappliance,whenliquidsare
onorinthemotorhousing.
• Do not placethemotorblockinanautomaticdishwasher!
• Toavoid damage,do not useanyabrasive cleaners,corrosivechemicals
(i.e.disinfectants,bleach)orcleaningpadsforoperationorcleaning.Do not use
anyhardorsharputensilsforoperationorcleaning.Alwayshandletheentire
applianceandallpartsofitwithcareandwithoutviolence.
• WARNING:Thebladesareverysharp.Payattentionwhenhandlingtheblades.
Onlytouchthebladesonthebladeassemblyandhandlewithcarewhencleaning.
• Do notusetheapplianceifitisdamagedorunitsoftheappliancearedam-
aged. Do not use the appliance if it does not function properly or if it was
excessivelyloaded.Theapplianceislikelydamagediftheapplianceorunitsof

fortechnicalmaintenanceandrepairtoanauthorisedspecialisedreparationshop.
• WARNING: Donotoverfilltheblenderjug.Ifnecessary,takesomefoodout
oftheblenderjug,usingawoodenorplasticspoon,beforestartingtheapplianceagain.
• Do notchopextremelyhardfood,suchasnutswithshell,bonestoavoidoverrun-
ning,spurtoutorthatthemotorstallsorstucksduringoperationbecausethebladeis
blocked.
•WARNING: Donotfillingredientsintotheblenderjugwhichexceedatemperature
of 60 degrees. After processing ice cubes slowly heat up the blender jug before
processinghotingredients.Otherwisetheblenderjugwillcrackorgetdamaged.
Useglovesprocessinghotliquidsanddonotfilltheblenderjuguptoohigh.Ensure
nottoburnyourselfontheblenderjug,onoverrunning,spurtoutorhotsteam.Touch
