ment from Slovenia, with fretted bottom

Zitter comes in many sizes and types through-
out Europe and is believed to be the ancestor
of the Mountain Dulcimer. It is known by
various names—Epinette (France), Langspil
(Iceland), and Scheitholz (Germany).
