Use the keypad to enter the desired altitude from zero to 16,000. If Temp
Comp is selected, use the keypad to input the landing airport temperature.

Touch the Load Button to insert the approach into the active flight plan.
NOTE: When GPS is not approved for the selected final approach course,
the message ‘NOT APPROVED FOR GPS’ is displayed. GPS provides
guidance to the approach, but the HSI must to be switched to a NAV
receiver to fly the final course of the approach.
ACTIVATE AN APPROACH IN THE ACTIVE FLIGHT PLAN
1)
From the Home Screen on the Touchscreen Controller, touch the PROC
Button.
2)
Touch the Activate Approach Button to activate the approach.
ACTIVATE A VECTOR TO FINAL APPROACH FIX
1)
From the Home Screen on the Touchscreen Controller, touch the PROC
Button.
2)
Touch the Activate Vectors To Final Button to activate vectors to final.
ACTIVATE A MISSED APPROACH IN THE ACTIVE FLIGHT PLAN
1)
From the Home Screen on the Touchscreen Controller, touch the PROC
Button.
2)
Touch the Activate Missed Approach Button. The approach
automatically sequences to the MAHP.
