ACTIVATE A FLIGHT PLAN LEG
1) From the Home Screen on the Touchscreen Controller, touch Flight Plan.
2) Scroll the list, if necessary, and touch the waypoint selection button to
select the destination waypoint for the desired leg. The Waypoint Options
Window is displayed.
3) Touch the Activate Leg to Waypoint Button.
4) Touch the OK Button in response to “Activate Leg?” The new active flight
plan leg is activated. To cancel the request, touch the Cancel Button.
STOP NAVIGATING A FLIGHT PLAN
1) From the Home Screen on the Touchscreen Controller, touch Flight Plan >
Flight Plan Options.
2) Touch the Delete Flight Plan Button.
3) Touch the OK Button in response to “Delete all waypoints in flight plan?”
The active flight plan is deleted. To cancel the request, touch the Cancel
Button.
VERTICAL NAVIGATION (VNAV)
The navigation database only contains altitudes for procedures that call for “Cross
at” altitudes. If the procedure states “Expect to cross at,” the altitude is not in the
database. In this case the altitude may be entered manually.
