WhenthenumberofTAsontheTrafcMapPageincreasesfromonescantothenext,thefollowingoccur:
•Asingle“Traffic” voice alert is generated.
•A‘TRAFFIC’AnnunciationappearstothetopleftoftheAttitudeIndicatoronthePFD,ashingfor5seconds
andremainingdisplayeduntilnoTAsaredetectedinthearea.
•ThePFDInsetMapisautomaticallydisplayedwithtrafc.
Toreducethenumberofnuisancealertsduetoproximateaircraft,the“Traffic” voice alert is generated only
whenthenumberofTAsincreases.Forexample,whentherstTAisdisplayed,avoiceandvisualannunciation
aregenerated.AslongasasingleTAremainsonthedisplay,noadditionalvoicealertsaregenerated.Ifasecond
TAappearsonthedisplayorifthenumberofTAsinitiallydecreasesandthensubsequentlyincreases,another
voice alert is generated.
