The new database is copied to the SD card in bottom card slot of each PFD.
Progress can be monitored in the SYNC STATUS field. When copying is
finished, ‘Complete’ is displayed.

Turn system power OFF.
13)
Remove the SD card from the top card slot of the MFD.

Turn system power ON.
15)
Press the ENT Key to acknowledge the startup screen.
16)
Turn the large FMS Knob to select the AUX Page group on the MFD.
17)
Turn the small FMS Knob to select the System Status Page.
18)
Press the Display Database Selection Softkey to show standby navigation
database information for each display (MFD1 DB, PFD1 DB, PFD2 DB).
Verify the correct standby navigation database cycle information is shown
for each display.
Canceling Database Synchronization
1)
Turn the large FMS Knob to select the AUX Page group on the MFD.
2)
Turn the small FMS Knob to select the System Status Page.
3)
Press the SYNC DBS Softkey (if needed) to disable automatic database
synchronization.
4)
Acknowledge the cancellation by pressing the ENT Key.
The SYNC DBS Softkey on the AUX–System Status Page allows enabling and
disabling the automatic database synchronization feature. If the SYNC DBS Softkey
is pressed while a database synchronization is in progress, the current synchronization
process will be canceled.
