ABNORMAL OPERATION
REVERSIONARY MODE
Shouldasystemdetectedfailureoccurineitherdisplay,theG1000automatically
enters reversionary mode. In reversionary mode, critical ight instrumentation is
combinedwithengineinstrumentationontheremainingdisplay.
ReversionarydisplaymodecanbemanuallyactivatedbypressingtheDISPLAY
BACKUPButtonontheaudiopanel.

ABNORMAL COM OPERATION
WhenaCOMtuningfailureisdetectedbythesystem,theemergencyfrequency
(121.500MHz)isautomaticallyloadedinto the active frequencyeldof the COM
radioforwhichthetuningfailurewasdetected.IntheeventofafailureofbothPFDs,
theemergencyfrequency(121.500MHz)automaticallybecomestheactivefrequency
onbothCOMradios.
HAZARD DISPLAYS WITH LOSS OF GPS POSITION
IfGPSpositionislost,orbecomesinvalid,selectedhazardsbeingdisplayedonthe
NavigationMapPageareremoveduntilGPSpositionisagainestablished.
