Enter the desired telephone number by selecting the number softkeys on
the MFD or by pressing the numeric keys on the MFD Control Unit. The
International dialing sequence is necessary to place a call from the cockpit
to an external phone: Country Code + City/Area Code (if any) + Telephone
Number.
The following country codes may be used when calling other satellite
telephone systems.

Press the ENT Key. ‘OK’ is highlighted.

Press the ENT Key. The system will begin calling the number.
To exit the call, select the HANGUP Softkey.
Placing The Cockpit Phone on Hold
Select the HOLD Softkey on the MFD.

Press the MENU Key to display the Page Menu.

Turn either FMS Knob to place the cursor on ‘Put Current Call On Hold’.
3)
Press the ENT Key.
Select the HOLD Softkey again to resume the call.
Transferring a Call from the Cockpit
From the cockpit phone, an external call can be transferred to the cabin phone,
or a call with the cabin phone can be transferred to an external phone, or (when
two Iridium Transceivers are installed) an external call can be transferred to another
external phone.
