Phones are connected
Enable the Iridium Telephone System
1) With the AUX-TELEPHONE Page displayed, select the MENU Key on the
MFD to display the Page Menu.
2) Turn either FMS Knob to place the cursor on ‘Enable Iridium Transmission’.
3) Press the ENT Key.
Disable the Iridium Telephone System
1) With the AUX-TELEPHONE Page displayed, select the MENU Key on the
MFD to display the Page Menu.
2) Turn either FMS Knob to place the cursor on ‘Disable Iridium Transmission’.
3) Press the ENT Key.
Incoming Calls
When viewing MFD pages other than the AUX-TELEPHONE Page, a pop-up
alert will be displayed. If the call is from the cabin, CABIN will be displayed. If the
incoming call is an Iridium network call, IRIDIUM will be displayed. The pop-up alert
may be inhibited at times, such as during takeoff. In addition to the pop-up alert, a
ringing phone symbol will be displayed to the right of the MFD page title. Also, the
voice alert “Incoming Call” will be heard on the selected cockpit audio.
Answer an Incoming Call in the Cockpit
1) Press the TEL Key on the appropriate audio panel.
2) Select the ANSWER Softkey on the MFD.
