Selecting the IGNORESoftkeywillextinguishthepop-upwindowandleavethe
current call unanswered. Selecting the IGNRE ALLSoftkeywillextinguishthepop-
up window for the current and all future incoming calls and leave the current call
unanswered. Selecting the TEL Softkey will display the AUX-TELEPHONE Page
allowing additional call information to be viewed before answering.
Disabling Incoming Call Alerts
1)
With the AUX-TELEPHONE Page displayed, press the MENU Key on the
MFD to display the Page Menu.
2)
Turn either FMS Knob to place the cursor on ‘Disable Incoming Call Alerts’.
3)
Press the ENT Key. The voice and pop-up alert will not be displayed now
when an incoming call is received.
Outgoing Calls
Voice calls can be made from the cockpit to the handset in the cabin, or to an
externalphonethroughtheIridiumSatelliteNetwork.
Make a Call to the Cabin:
1)
Press the TEL Key on the appropriate audio panel.
2)
Select the DIAL Softkey on the MFD.
3)
Press the ENT Key. The cursor will move from ‘CABIN’ to ‘OK’.
4)
Press the ENT Key again. The cabin phone will now ring.
Toexitthecall,selecttheHANGUP Softkey.
Make an External Call from the Cockpit
1)
Press the TEL Key on the appropriate audio panel.
2)
Select the DIAL Softkey on the MFD.
3)
Turn the small FMS Knob to select ‘IRIDIUM’.
4)
Press the ENT Key. The cursor has now moved to the phone number entry field.
5)
Enter the desired telephone number (country code first) by selecting the
number softkeys on the MFD or by pressing the numeric keys on the MFD
Control Unit.
6)
Press the ENT Key. ‘OK’ is highlighted.
7)
Press the ENT Key. The system will begin calling the number.
