Loading the magnetic field variation database update:
Acopyofthecurrentmagneticeldvariationdatabase(MVDB)isincludedwith
the navigation database. At startup, the system compares this version of the MV
DBwiththatpresentlybeingusedbyeachAHRS(GRS1andGRS2).Ifthesystem
determinestheMVDBneedstobeupdated,apromptisdisplayedontheNavigation
Map Page, as shown in the following figure.

With ‘OK’ highlighted, press the ENT Key on the MFD. A progress monitor
is displayed.
