Press the STBY Softkey at any time to select StandbyMode.InStandby,thetransponderdoesnotreply
to interrogations, but new codes can be entered. When Standby is selected, a white STBY indication and
transponder code appear in the modeeldoftheTransponderDataBox.Inallothermodes,theseelds
appear in green.

ALTITUDE MODE (AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL)
Altitude Mode is automatically selected when the aircraft becomes airborne. Press the ALT Softkey to
manually select Altitude Mode.

TransponderDataBox,andalltransponderrepliesrequestingaltitudeinformationareprovidedwithpressure
altitude information.
