Softkeyagainrestoresthepreviousidenticationcode.
Thepre-programmedVFRCodeissetatthefactoryto1200.IfaVFRcodechangeisrequired,contacta
Garmin-authorizedservicecenterforconguration.

IDENT FUNCTION
NOTE: In Standby Mode, the IDENT Softkey is inoperative.
Pressing the
IDENT
SoftkeysendsadistinctidentityindicationtoAirTrafcControl(ATC).Theindication
distinguishestheidentingtransponderfromalltheothersontheairtrafccontroller’sscreen.The
IDENT
Softkey appears on all levels of transponder softkeys. When the
IDENT
Softkey is pressed, a green
IDNT
indicationisdisplayedinthemodeeldoftheTransponderDataBoxforadurationof18seconds.
After the
IDENT
Softkey is pressed while in Mode or Code Selection, the system reverts to the top-level
softkeys.
Press the
IDENT Softkey
to Initiate the
ID Function
