Charge the battery (page 4). Removing the Battery Cover 1. Locate the battery cover notch on the bottom of the device. 2. Place your thumb in the centre of the battery cover. 3. Insert your fingernail in the notch. 4. Pry the cover up. 5. Remove the cover from the device.
Installing the Battery 1. Locate the battery that came in the product box. 2. Locate the metal contacts on the end of the battery and in the battery compartment. 3. Insert the battery with the Garmin‑Asus logo facing up and the metal contacts on the battery aligned with the contacts in the battery compartment. Battery Replacing the Battery Cover 1. Properly align the battery cover on the back of the device. 2. Press the battery cover down until it snaps into place.
Mounting Your Device Warning This product contains a lithium-ion battery. To prevent the possibility of personal injury or product damage caused by battery exposure to extreme heat, remove the device from the vehicle when exiting, or store it out of direct sunlight. 1. Plug the vehicle power cable into the power connector on the side of the cradle. 2. Remove the clear plastic from the suction cup. 3. Clean and dry your windscreen and the suction cup with a lint-free cloth. 4.

Finding and Navigating to Destinations Acquiring Satellites Before you can navigate with your device, you must acquire satellites. 1. Turn on your device. 2. If necessary, go outdoors to an open area, away from tall buildings and trees. Acquiring satellite signals can take a few minutes. Finding a Point of Interest 1. From the Home screen, touch Where To? > Points of Interest. 2. Touch a category. 3. Touch a subcategory, if necessary. 4. Touch an item.
