3.9.4.2 Weight and Airspeed Configuration
In addition to the airframe configuration loaded above, certain installations will require additional steps to
configure the G1000 for airframe weight and airspeed markings.
3.9.4.2.1 Determining the Correct Weight Configuration
The C90A G1000 system software airframe configurations have specific default MTOW, MZFW, and
maximum landing weight values obtained from the effective AFMS for each configuration. Table 3-3
below lists the MTOW, MZFW, and maximum landing weights for each airframe configuration.
Reference Table 5 in the General Arrangement Drawing listed in Table 1-2 for airframe configuration
information.

* For S/N 1063-1137 and 1146 have MTOW 9,650 and MLDW 9168. The MTOW 9,650 option
(ref. Table 3-4 or Table 3-5) must also be loaded to get the correct default weight configuration. For other
S/N applicable to these configurations, the weight configuration shown in this table applies.
Table 3-3. Default Airframe Weight Configurations
If your airframe configuration will require a weight configuration other than the default airframe weight
configuration listed in Table 3-3, then select an optional airframe weight configuration from Table 3-4 or
Table 3-5 below.
NOTE
Consult the aircraft AFMS and/or permanent maintenance records to determine the
correct airframe weight configuration for your aircraft installation.
If your installation is using C90 G1000 System Software PN 006-B0636-01, Version 0636.01, then select
an optional airframe weight configuration from Table 3-4. Proceed to Section 3.9.4.2.2, Loading
Airframe Weight Configurations.
